Just came across a blog entitled “5 prerequisites for blogging success“. It contains solid, useful advice to help anyone who wants to use blogs in their business. One point it makes is the need to put in time and commitment to making your blog a success. You need to see a blog as central to your business, rather than a side issue. If you do that you will find the time more easily. Equally, if you see blogging as a social activity within your business, rather than some kind of chore, you will also be able to commit to it more easily.
If you are a “big change” business, then you are like my garden fence. Leaving it unpainted for so long has created much more work, at a higher cost, than if it had been tended to every year. Ignoring reviews of your online activity for long periods also means you make more work for yourself and raise your costs.
